Certificate In Hospitality Communication (English)

This Certificate prepares students to communicate effectively in English in the hospitality industry by providing a multi-leveled curriculum based upon proven educational methodology that includes intensive training in listening, speaking, writing, and contextualizing information to achieve language skill. In addition to the hospitality-focused English language learning, students receive guest service training that leads to a certification.

The Certificate in Hospitality Communication program is designed to offer a demanding curriculum of English language studies that culminates in written and spoken competence sufficient to the requirements of the hospitality industry. This curriculum leading to English language proficiency includes additional coursework in guest service and an introduction to the field of hospitality.

Persons working at this level provide a broader rather than specialised ICT support function, applying a wide range of higher level technical skills in ICT areas such as networking, IT support, database development, programming and web development.

This qualifications provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to administer and manage information and communications technology (ICT) support in small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) using a wide range of general ICT technologies.

Certificate In Early Care and Development​

This qualification is for people who are interested in working as an early childhood educator in a centre-based service or family daycare. This is a nationally regulated entry-level qualification for working in the early childhood education and care industry.

This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.

12 Months

Assessment for this qualification includes underpinning knowledge questions, written assignments, work-based projects and third party reports. There is also a required practical placement within the Early Childhood sector. The assessments you will complete during your placement, includes the observation when your trainer visits you in the workplace.

Certificate In Individual Care and Support​

Designed to provide training to entry-level workers who want to work in residential aged care facilities, community care, nursing homes, community-based organisations and hospitals.

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and / or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individuals support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
